Sodexo has a great opportunity at UH Samaritan Medical Center as a Facilities Engineering Manager. In this position you will be responsible for the day to day operations at the hospital, to include the supervision of the maintenance and upkeep of all equipment associated with the facility. This includes boilers, chillers, HVAC, Emergency Power, and electrical distribution.
Previous management experience is a plus. Having a knowledge of The Joint Commission Regulatory requirements and Safety/EOC along w/ Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) would be beneficial. There is a large emphasis using the Maximo Platform and the daily workforce planning for this site. This is a great opportunity for someone to break into Healthcare Plant Operations & Facilities.
- Construction project management experience a plus.
- Hospital Facilities experience a plus
- MS Office (Excel preferred)
Supervises hourly staff providing facilities maintenance and engineering services to clients. Responsible for work force planning, QA training, and administrative functions of the designated area of supervision. May report to GM in smaller accounts, or to an Ops Manager in a larger account, or to another manager level.
