Desktop Support Technician

We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join our IT team in Montville, NJ. The IT Help Desk is the central point of contact for all IT related incidents and service requests. The role of the Desktop Support Technician is to provide front line support for all staff. The Desktop Support Technician is responsible for resolving support requests as well as meeting customer satisfaction and continuous service delivery demands. In this role, you will track all support requests through a ticketing system and track all resolutions to issues. This team works in a dynamic, fast-paced environment which provides services over the phone, through e-mail/chat and in person.

Qualified candidate will have a minimum of a High School degree (or equivalent) along with demonstrated knowledge of building and configuring PCs and laptops, loading software, and conducting audits for unlicensed software. Must be highly computer literate, with MS Office/PC expertise, and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, and equipment. Must have good oral and written communication skills - along with the ability interface at all levels of the organization. This position requires a detail oriented individual who must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
