Sodexo is seeking an experienced Food General Manager 4 for _Elkhart General Hospital located in Elkhart, IN. This is a 280 bed facility and is part of a larger hospital system. The Hospital has an average census of 200 and serves patients using Sodexo's At Your Request (AYR) patient room service program. The Cafeteria has approximate sales of $750K annually. The 50 front-line staff are non-union client employees. The Sodexo management team includes a Chef, Retail Manager and a Clinical Nutrition Manager.
The ideal candidate for this position will have:
- Excellent client and administration relationship skills
Solid food service operations experience, preferably in a hospital setting
Knowledge of Sodexo At Your Request (AYR) patient room service programs or similar programs
Strong retail food service experience
Solid financial skills
Ability to lead and develop a team
Directs all contract management service operations at a single account/unit. Plans and supervises special functions. Maintains cash control and payroll records. Hires and trains unit personnel. Maintains customer satisfaction and good public relations. Manages through managers and is accountable for the contract. Senior-most person assigned to a one client account.
Provides local leadership and strategic direction while developing team for new and emerging business solutions that sustain growth in the day to day operations.
