Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a full time Chef Manager/Restaurant Chef to join our team at the Federal Reserve Building in downtown Boston. Sodexo has partnered with the Federal Reserve for over 20 years!. We are looking for an Chef Manager/Restaurant Chef for the Harbor View dining room located on the 31st floor of the building. The Harbor View dining is an a la carte restaurant that is open Monday-Friday from 11:30am to 1:30pm serving lunch only with a MV of 100K a year. This is a very unique opportunity to manage and operate an a la carte restaurant atop the Federal Reserve Building in downtown Boston. Full creative autonomy to design seasonal lunch menus. Looking for someone with a true passion for food and service who is ready to take that next step in their culinary career.

The ideal candidate will be driven to run the operation as though it were their own restaurant business. Responsible for staff performance management, purchasing, menu planning and costing, quality control, inventory, HACCP and sanitation. This position will also be required to assist with catering as needed. The location hosts roughly 50-60 catered evening events per year (cocktail receptions, buffet dinners, plated dinners, etc.). No weekends, 9 paid holidays. Three weeks of paid vacation per year. Health insurance and 401K with company match eligible.

Must be ServSafe certified. Thorough criminal history check and drug screen required.

Position Summary

Responsible for the day to day execution of the menus & culinary deliverables. May be responsible for smaller units within a multi-location.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
