Sodexo has an exciting opportunity for a talented Executive Chef 2 to oversee the culinary operation for Dakota State University - in Madison, SD - within 1 hour of Sioux Falls. Dakota State University was ranked as one of 2015’s Best Regional Universities, has over 2800 undergrad students on a 20-acre campus – offering resident dining, food retail concepts and catering (including high-end catering for fund raising, campus President dinners, alumni dinners, conferences, etc.).
Reporting to the General Manager, the ideal Executive Chef will posess the following:
Culinary management experience within a large volume campus dining program including resident dining, retail dining and catering as you will be Sodexo's face of our culinary team to this new campus!
- Charisma to engage your team, the client and the students!
- Innovative culinary background - be creative with catering, including creative menus and presentation and quality focused food production!
Strong culinary, team development and client relations skills.
Strong working knowledge of food safety/sanitation.
- Experience in opening new business or working through a renovation a plus.
