Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for an Executive Chef 2 to join our team at MIT Lincoln Laboratory located adjacent to Hanscom Air Force Base in Lexington MA! This location has a newly renovated cafe that provides the ingredients to soar your culinary career to the next level!

We are looking for an Executive Chef with passion for food, innovation and enjoys developing their culinary staff. The Executive Chef 2 will be responsible for menu development, managing daily production, ordering, food and labor cost, and regulatory compliance.

This Executive Chef opportunity provides a Monday through Friday schedule, 14 holidays off, 3 weeks of paid vacation, health insurance and 401k with company match eligible, and on-site parking.

Successful candidate must pass background check that is completed outside of Sodexo.

Position Summary

Provides culinary leadership within a medium sized unit including menu planning, program execution and staff management & training. Works directly with internal and external clients managing the catering process from beginning through execution.
Key Duties
- Implements & coordinates the culinary function.
- Directs & trains cooks & utility workers.
- Ensures food preparation & production meets operational standards.
- Manages catering & retail areas.
- Customer & Client satisfaction.
- Financial management to include food cost & labor management.
- Manages food & physical safety programs.


Basic Education Requirement - Associate's Degree 
Basic Management Experience - 2 years
Basic Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
