Description

Americas Market Intelligence is looking for a skilled and talented Analyst to support our market research and intelligence efforts. To be based in Coral Gables, FL our new Analyst will be responsible for generally supporting the research and analysis efforts of AMI's various practices including Payments and Natural Resources.

With offices in Miami, San Francisco, and across Latin America, Americas Market Intelligence is the leading market intelligence and research firm servicing Latin America. AMI has conducted over 1,000 engagements across sectors including Payments, Healthcare, Natural Resources, and Logistics.
Responsibilities

The role of the analyst is to support AMI's practice leaders and project managers on all tasks related to client engagements and business development. Such responsibilities include but are not limited to:

- Perform bi/tri-lingual desk research across the industries of payments and natural resources.
- Conduct bi/tri-lingual primary research, including phone interviews, personal interviews and focus groups.
- Support AMI's practice leaders in analyzing research, including quantitative data analysis.
- Support the creation of content for AMI's various Thought Leadership initiatives, including researching, writing, editing and translating as needed.
- Create and edit drafts of deliverables, including PPT decks and written documents, in both English & Spanish. Portuguese is highly valued.
- Perform follow-up with clients, senior analysts and AMI's regional partners as needed.
- Administrative support including database management, event and webinar support/coordination, meeting scheduling, etc.
- Travel between Miami and San Francisco and to Latin America 20%.


Requirements

An ideal candidate will have:
- 2 years work experience in business research, consulting or related field, covering Latin American markets. Candidates with experience in the payments/banking/financial services industry are highly preferred.
- Excellent writing skills; experience writing business/academic documents.
- A curious, investigative, and analytical mindset.
- Experience conducting and managing primary research, especially phone interviews.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish. Fluent Portuguese is also highly valued
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Was born in or has studied and worked in Latin America.
- Has US work credentials.
- Travel experience across the Americas

Education:
- BA/BS or equivalent, or higher in the fields of business, economics, political science, finance or journalism.
- Relevant certifications or qualification welcome.
