Route/Activity - Truck drivers are responsible for BMW dealership deliveries of parts products with lift gate trailers. Most of the routes are a team run. Drivers deliver to parts room and pick up returns and empty cages for RDC. The routes are to same dealer every night. Trucks are equipped with Xata and Cellcom for logging and communication. The areas of delivery are; FL, GA, AL, MS, TN, NC, SC, TN, KY Drivers are required to physically unload all deliveries. Routes average 700 to 1000 miles and 4-6 stops per night. Driver Uniforms and all PPE will be provided.
Schedule - Monday night through Friday night with dispatch beginning at 6:30pm and continuing till 9pm.
Equipment - 2018 Volvo Sleeper Cabs with 53' lift gate Van trailers.
Compensation - Route Pay (from $235-$300 per night depending on route). Pay includes delay pay, 6 paid holidays and 10 vacation days during the first year. Drivers are paid weekly, direct deposit , paperless pay statements available
-Loading, unloading, or assisting in loading and unloading truck.
-Safe and responsible operation of assigned equipment.
-Ensuring compliance with applicable federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or agency rules, standards and guidelines.
-Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage before and after route.
-Primary interface with the customer at point of delivery.
