Education Legal Rights Attorney  Legal Aid Service Service of Broward County 


Legal Aid has an opening for a full time Education Legal Rights attorney.  In this position you will advocate for children suspected of having disabilities or who are already identified as having a disability.  You will assist them in accessing appropriate educational services and public benefits.  You will serve both community families and children in the foster care system.  Applicant must be a member of the Florida Bar.  The ideal candidate will have litigation experience, a background in children’s law, education, psychology, the medical field, and/or related services. 


Job Requirements

  • Position requires excellent oral and written advocacy skills, a willingness to be an aggressive advocate for our indigent client population, and travel within Broward County. 
  • Bilingual applicants preferred but not required.
