Sodexo K-12 Schools division is seeking culinary candidate to serve as a Chef Manager to manage two very special schools located in Okaloosa County, FL . Current volume is less than 1 M managed volume annually. Schools are close in proximity. The successful candidate needs to have a Strong culinary background, effective leadership skills and familiar with the National School Lunch and National School Breakfast programs governed by USDA. The successful candidate needs to be independent, with a proven track record of innovation, problem solving and operations.
The position will focus on Wellness, while engaging the students, and will be responsible for special events (Future Chef, Fine Dining). The candidate must be able to communicate effectively in a professional manner with the district, USDA and the community.
