We research, design, engineer, prototype, and verify those mobility products to create joy, expand joy, and ensure joy for the next generation.

Honda R&D is seeking a talented Bilingual (Japanese/English) Coordinator to join our Organizational Development team.  The primary responsibility of this position is to lead our Global Talent Development initiatives.  Which includes, but is not limited to coordinating and managing all aspects of the Overseas Assignment Program (OAP) including; the nomination process, in depth knowledge of all relevant policies/procedures, working with and coordinating various subject matter experts to provide exceptional customer service/support, evaluating and enhance the program annually. 

In addition the candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of training for Japanese expatriates including cross cultural, language and leadership programs.  The candidate will be responsible for coordinating classes and analyzing course evaluations to ensure these training programs remain relevant. Qualified candidates will also be able to facilitate leadership training such as DiSC and 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. 

The candidate will also be the Learning Management Systems (LMS) administrator, responsibilities include; enrolling associates in courses, monitoring course content to ensure data accuracy/integrity and creating instructions for Japanese associates to ensure the system is as user friendly as possible. 

The position also requires strong support for Japanese expatriates and their families to ensure they have a positive experience during their assignment in the United States.  



Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or relevant business administration focus and a minimum of 5 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.  Excellent PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical software) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills required.  Bilingual in Japanese and English is required.  Ability to travel and work overtime may be required.
