Sodexo Campus Services is seeking an experienced and dynamic Retail Manager 2 for our prestigious campus of Florida State University located in sunny Tallahassee, FL! This Retail Manager 2 will support the full-service Starbucks locations on campus, as well as providing supplemental support for other campus retail operations as needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Extensive large campus/university retail food service operations experience;
  • Prior Starbucks brand experience;
  • Experience increasing retail sales, managing labor and food costs, and maintaining employee engagement;
  • Excellent fiscal management experience to write budgets, control expenditures and meet financial targets;
  • Strong supervisory/leadership experience to provide direction and vision for a diverse team of managers, supervisors and hourly employees;
  • Experience establishing operational standards, and working with staff to adhere to standards;
  • Experience analyzing the business, determining new products and services, and working through design and successful implementation.

Position Summary

Responsible for food quality & customer service in an operation that may have branded concepts or other retail offerings. Directs the work of hourly & supervisory food service workers.
Key Duties
- Ensures there is a zero harm mindset for ourselves, our customers, our food & employees.
- Directs daily operations of food quality & customer service in a retail food operation that may include branded concepts ensuring that employees have appropriate equipment, supplies and resources.
- Manages cash handling protocols & control procedures according to Sodexo policies.
- Maintains client satisfaction for food quality & customer service.
- Accountable for the execution of service quality by maintaining the highest level of delivery.
- Supervises day-to-day work activities of food service workers.



Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or Equivalent
Basic Management Experience - 1 year
