Directs and leads the activities of the Ortho Technology business unit to achieve company policies, objectives and initiatives in accordance with identified company goals to obtain optimum efficiency, economy of operations, quality of products and maximization and profits. Full P&L Responsibility for the business unit and general oversight responsibilities for the entire facility inclusive of departments and/or TSMs who are not part of the Ortho Technology P&L.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Responsible for Business Unit P&L, as well as the continued leadership and development of Ortho Technology's Sales, Marketing, and Customer Service functions.
Develops performance and operational goals for each area of responsibility that are aggressive, yet obtainable, and tied to the long term goals of the company.
Responsible for the company's strategic development and planning activities that relate to and impact company operations.
Develops and presents operating budgets and analyzes division or department budgets.
Presides over internal management meetings, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement that values learning and a commitment to quality and teamwork.
Communicates clearly and directly with management concerning performance expectations, productivity, and accountability.
Responsible for appointing Ortho Technology's Quality Management Representative and meets with said representative to ensure the Company's quality system is functioning as required to meet the current FDA regulatory requirements and ISO standards to which the company is certified.
Participates in Dental Specialties Group ("DSG") special projects and performs other duties as required.
In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
- Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Track record of proven success at leadership positions in commercialization areas of the business. Experience in developing and deploying direct marketing strategies in the dental field as well as managing dealer/distributor channels in both the U.S. and/or international markets. Must have 5 years plus in the medical/dental space (orthodontic field is preferred but not required).
Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Marketing or similar, MBA preferred.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Demonstrated ability to lead strategically, drive performance, build alignment, influence and execute. Strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence. Strong negotiating, organization, communication, problem-solving and leadership skills. Strong understanding of direct marketing - especially digital marketing - preferred.
