Responsible for supervising a cross-trained and highly qualified group that routinely works with engineering to produce product on pilot production lines. This team often fills in for other TSM's in any operations work center. As the supervisor, leads and participates in kaizen activities.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Lead operators for pilot production activities.
- Lead preparation of components and work orders for Cali Baja Mfg.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Spanish speaking a plus.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions. Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
