Position Summary:

Do you have a passion for security? Are you interested in hunting bad guys in network and log data? Do you want to have an effect on the security of systems in a complex, global environment? At Rockwell Automation, the leading industrial automation company, the Incident Response Analyst is responsible for analyzing security events, conducting incident response, and identifying remediation activities to clean up infections. The CSIRT Analyst works within the Cyber Defense function, which is responsible for protecting Rockwell's security globally across a mix of cloud, on-premise, and manufacturing networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct triage of cybersecurity incidents based off of criticality

  • Provide analysis of escalated incidents to determine if it is a true or false positive event

  • Develop and conduct remediation activities in response to new malware techniques

  • Develop, research, and maintain proficiency in tools, techniques, countermeasures, and trends related to malware analysis, incident response, and forensics

  • Identify root cause of cybersecurity incidents
