The Dean of Lakeshore is the administrative leader responsible for campus operations, including programming and services to ensure student, community and employee needs are met. The Dean is responsible for the collaborative development and implementation of a campus plan aligned with the College's strategic plan to support growth, viable operations, and student success outcomes. The Dean is also responsible for working collaboratively across the institution to create innovative initiatives that support the college's strategic plan, meeting new and emerging community needs, and enhancing enrollments opportunities.
The Lakeshore Dean represents the campus as a college spokesperson to the community-at-large; responsible for fostering partnerships and relationships within the community. While county-wide perspectives are required of this role, the Dean of Lakeshore must align the campus operations to be relevant and reflective of the local surrounding communities. The Dean represents the Lakeshore campus' unique attributes along with its interests and needs to the College, while simultaneously coordinating and aligning the Lakeshore campus objectives with the College's defined mission, vision, values, and goals.
The Dean fosters an inclusive, equitable, personalized and culturally relevant student experience ensuring that high-quality learning and services are consistently provided. The Dean is responsible for fostering collaborative relationships with all academic units and student development within the College to ensure access to high quality transfer programs, career programs, support services, and student life experiences. Additionally, the Dean is responsible for the development of consistent processes and application of policy that align with the College's administrative practices. The Dean works to ensure campus representation on college committees and within shared governance and convenes campus meetings to facilitate communications and plan implementation.

2. Minimum of seven (7) years college or academic administrative experience.
3. Demonstrated record of success in working with diverse socio-economic populations.
4. Demonstrated commitment to working with external stakeholders and fostering community partnerships.
5. Strong experience in community outreach, programming, and student recruitment with an emphasis on diverse populations.
6. Supervisory experience.
7. Valid driver's license.
