In this role as a Part - Time Onsite - Wellness Engagement Resource Manager you will be responsible for becoming a wellness product expert that assists employees in optimizing wellness opportunities offered by their medical plan. The position will be the resource that manages wellness communication strategies, deployment and engagement so that all members utilize all plan tools and features

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop expert level familiarity with wellness tools and features in conjunction with the customers medical plan
  • Work with internal teams and customer to create a wellness strategy for their multi-site employee base
  • Build a digital communications strategy to drive engagement in wellness resources
  • Conduct wellness program education in person, telephonically and via webex
  • Create positive momentum around behavioral change for a healthier life
  • Track and report progress to internal team and customer
  • Provide feedback to team members regarding improvement opportunities
  • Provide expertise and face to face support to members and customer
  • Quickly establish rapport relating to the customer in a polite, positive and courteous manner
  • Project patience, empathy, caring, and sincerity in voice tone and words
  • Express thoughts and information clearly and succinctly
  • Handle irate callers in a manner that defuses their emotion
  • Achieve quality and efficiency objectives
  • Maintain proficiency in all technical applications (technical skills and system knowledge
  • Comply with all current policies, procedures and workflows
  • Log and track all incoming issues as well as resolution / problem solving skills
  • Be able to work independently
  • Being flexible and have the ability to handle multiple and changing priorities
  • Event planning and hosting (health fairs, fitness contests, etc.)
  • Be a mentors others
  • Acts as a resource for others
  • Coordinates others' activities
  • Travel may be required

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)
  • Must have strong background in communications and marketing
  • Health Insurance terminology and experience
  • Must have an understanding of employer insurance benefit programs and general group plan rules
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel (create / update spreadsheets, formulas), Microsoft Word (create / update documents / PDF), Microsoft PowerPoint (creating presentations with animations), and Microsoft Outlook (email, calendar)
  • Experience coordinating or directing Wellness initiatives for multi-site locations
  • Must be willing to potentially travel up to 25% of the time
  • Must be flexible to work any shift within the hours of operations Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's Degree (or higher)
  • Fitness Certification or experience working in the fitness or wellness industry
  • Nutrition Certification
  • Human Resources experience (Employee Benefits)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • 2+ years of Account Management experience – Customer Service & Customer Relationship Management

Soft skill:

  • Experience with issue resolution, creative thinking
  • Must be able to facilitate presentations meetings and training
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
