Position:

School of Criminal Justice & Criminalistics

Lecturer: temporary faculty with the possibility of renewal for additional semesters

Starting Date:

On-going. Positions will be filled as needed for each academic semester.

Minimum Qualifications:

Candidate must have an appropriate degree from an accredited university (bachelor’s degree and substantial teaching experience for lower division courses; master’s degree for upper division undergraduate courses; doctoral degree, or master’s degree and substantial teaching experience for graduate courses). Demonstrated excellence in teaching at a college level. Participation in School meetings and professional training in innovative pedagogical approaches is mandatory.

To this end, the successful candidate will work effectively, respectfully, and collaboratively in diverse, multicultural, and inclusive settings. Appropriate terminal degree per the minimum qualifications.

Duties:

Faculty will teach undergraduate and possibly graduate courses related to criminal justice and forensic science; must also be available for office hours.

Salary:

Initial salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
