Considered part of the finance BI team focused on delivering key business intelligence reporting, analyses, and dashboards to all departments within the organization.  Accesses source data in Microsoft SQL Server environment and delivers business critical information using Tableau while managing the transition and maintenance of existing SSRS reporting environment.  Interacts with all levels of internal users to gain understanding and translate business requirements into sustainable and efficient visualizations and reporting.  Plays a key role in identifying source data issues and concerns and works with appropriate personnel to address these issues.  Designs, develops, tests, implements, and manages reporting and analyses.  Optimizes and manages Tableau environment with reusable data sources and appropriate workflow strategies.  Provides training to end users to ensure appropriate usage and skill development.


  • Working with management to identify key metrics and KPIs
  • Create reports, visualizations, analytics for internal end user consumption
  • Maintain and improve upon existing reporting and data sources
  • Plays a key role in evaluating data integrity
  • Data modeling
  • Creates documentation on key projects and analyses
  • Provides ad hoc reports and data sets based on end user requests



An experienced professional required to have demonstrated abilities in Tableau and 3 years of current SQL experience.  Any experience with SSRS and/or SSIS would be beneficial but not required.  This position requires solving problems and addressing issues with ambition and creativity.


Works within a cross-functional team of Finance and IT resources using multiple complex data sources that must be joined, blended, and thoroughly understood in order to successfully deliver quality solutions.  Must demonstrate good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.  Works in an environment of changing products, data, and requirements.  Must be detail oriented, able to communicate with all levels employees within the organization, and have a passion for implementing change.  Requires confidence in recommending best in class performance and solutions.

EXPERIENCE:  Typically requires a minimum of 3 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree; or 1 year and a Master's degree.
