Job Sumamary:

Our Customer Care team represents the Benjamin Moore brand by providing excellent customer service while developing relationships with customers. You'll get to know our brand inside and out and make sure that the voice of the customer is heard throughout the company. The ideal candidate will be a true "people person." RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Proficiency with placing customer orders via phone, fax or email
  • Provide information to customers regarding Orders, Delivery, product availability, Pricing and Promotions
  • Become proficient with company policies and Marketing programs around promotions, freight policy, product information and customer experience expectations
  • Obtain and evaluate relevant information to handle inquiries and complaints and either resolve customer issues or properly escalate
  • Communicate with Logistics personnel to coordinate special delivery requirements and to resolve problems with product availability
  • Work with Sales Support Staff to escalate issues, communicating inquiries and complaints and drive continuous improvement to exceed customer expectations
  • Responsible for delivering consistently excellent customer service over the phone and in writing, navigating systems, procedures, and other resources to provide accurate and timely resolution to customer inquiries, and documenting problem resolution
  • Other responsibilities include providing flexible assistance through cross-training and support to meet and exceed performance, customer satisfaction, and service level goals and providing follow up as needed on customer inquiries to ensure resolution satisfies customers and meets all internal expectations
  • Can prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fun, office environment
  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 1-year customer contact center experience preferred
  • Must be bilingual (French)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong customer service focus
  • Previous SAP experience preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize, problem solve and perform multiple tasks
  • Good organizational skills; detail oriented; self-starter
  • Excellent verbal, written and telephone communication skills
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, MS Office Suite, and Internet Explorer required
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task with keyboarding and phone required
  • Good verbal and written communication skills required
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to work occasional overtime is required
