Description

The Executive Director is responsible for overall direction and leadership of the agency. The Executive Director has the ultimate responsibility for the fiscal management of the agency and staff management and directly supervises the Program Coordinator, the Mental Health Clinician, the Education Specialist, and other positions as needed. The Executive Director will be expected to develop and implement plans to enhance funding and community awareness and to develop existing and new programs within the agency mission. The Executive Director reports directly to the Board of Directors.

The mission of Foothills Child Advocacy Center is to provide a coordinated system of effective response and intervention to children who have been victimized and to their families. Our goals are to minimize trauma, promote healing, and ensure child safety. The Executive Director will lead the organization in fulfilling its missions and goals.

This position is a full-time, exempt position and comes with competitive salary and benefits. Salary range is $65,500 to $80,500, depending on experience. This ad and the job description are subject to change.

Requirements

Qualified candidates will have a master's degree (or equivalent experience) in leadership, organizational or nonprofit management, criminal justice, social work, or related field and at least five years of experience in leadership, business administration, or management. Experience in leadership, business administration, or management in a social services environment is strongly preferred. At least five years of experience in fundraising strategies and donor relations unique to the non-profit sector is preferred. Previous professional experience with child advocacy centers, criminal justice, or child welfare and participation in a multi-disciplinary team and familiarity with the National Children's Alliance Standards of Accreditation for child advocacy centers are also preferred.

Qualified candidates will also have knowledge or experience in grant writing and reporting for Federal, State, and local governments; knowledge of strategic planning process and program evaluation; knowledge of the budgeting process and financial management; and knowledge and skills in human resources and staff development. Qualified candidates will have the ability to serve as the face and the voice of the center.
