Unit Description

Sodexo has an excellent opportunity for a polished and professional General Manager 2 for a Corporate Services account located in Denver, Colorado.

This individual would oversee a multi concept retail cafe and catering for our client's corprate office. This manager will have total unit operating responsibilities including the supervision of a management team and all hourly staff which include 7 Sodexo non-union frontline employees with a focus on excellent customer experience. This position reports into a District Manager. The GM of food service will_ oversee close to 1 million dollars in annual managed volume. This individual will plan and supervise special functions, maintain cash control and payroll records, hire and train unit personnel, and maintain customer satisfaction and good public relations. We are looking for candidates with a culinary background, strong leadership skills, and catering experience.

Key duties will include the following:

  • Monitor and manage operations by comparing contract guarantees to historical and present data to analyze and make effective decisions
  • Manage the budget by increasing revenue and controlling costs, reviewing financial statements and tracking operating expenses
  • Constantly improve food service operations in order to drive client and customer satisfaction
  • Manage through mangers to achieve Sodexo objectives
  • Ensure the execution of product and service quality by maintaining highest level of delivery
  • Promote and support workplace diversity initiatives as well as create a positive work environment
  • Develop strategic plans for account retention and growth
