We have an excellent opportunity for an Associate International Marketing  Designer to be based at our manufacturing facility in Chicago.

Summary of Position

This person will be part of a top performing team that helps drive the development and execution of the corporate brand strategy.  This role does require fluency, both written and orally, in Spanish as this person will work closely with our SBUs and Latin America Sales on the recommendation of promotional activities and their execution.  As a member of the Hu-Friedy Marketing Communications team, this position will assist in the development and execution of Hu-Friedy Latin America marketing and sales materials; manage Latin America social media platform; provide translation into local language as requested for both Marketing and Regulatory documents; assist on various global marketing efforts and other duties as assigned.  Approximately 80% of this role will be design work.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

  • Minimum 1 year of marketing experience preferred 
  • Knowledge of and experience in graphic design
  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or communications, graphic design or equivalent experience 
  • Fluent, both written and orally in Spanish required.  Other languages a plus
  • Interest in and understanding of other cultures, especially Latin America is a must
  • Familiar with project management principles
  • Needs to be creative and proactive to develop effective campaigns
  • Experience in digital creative planning, development and execution
  • Some travel to Latin America will be required.
