JOB SUMMARY:
Duties include opening / closing the facilities, monitoring access in / out by both TSMs and Visitors, utilizing security TV systems to monitor activities at the premise, ensuring assets are not removed without proper authorization, serving as the receptionist / "meeter-greeter," and logging in all issuances of access badges. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES: Utilize the security TV system to observe the premise being on the look-out for security or safety problems. Log in all visitors, issue Visitor badges, and contact by phone the party to be visited. Monitor / control access to the facility to only authorized personnel (ID badge holders). Issue Temporary Access badges to authorized personnel; log all issuance transactions. Issue and log in all issuances of badges to cleaning staff and cafeteria personnel. Open / close the facility; turn off / on alarm systems. Ensure that all removal of company property / assets is accompanied by a properly approved Property Removal Pass. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as required. Report any abnormal alarm system conditions promptly to the Security Manager. In addition to the essential duties and responsibilities listed above, all positions are also responsible for:
- Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including WorldWide Business Standards.
- Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Qualifications
Experience:
A minimum of one year prior security or law enforcement experience required.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Basic operational knowledge of alarm systems
Solid verbal communication skills and high degree of integrity, confidentiality and reliability required.
