    Traveling Laborer Foreman Concrete Construction - Central U.S.

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Type: Full Time

Min. Experience: Mid Level

Laborer Foreman

Summary/Objective:

The Laborer Foreman is responsible for performing and supervising the completion of all laborer assignment required throughout the tank building process.  The Laborer Foreman is a working part of the team and is responsible for maintaining the required production and safety goals of others on site.  Extensive travel is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Performs casting beds, reads and interprets drawings to ensure work is done according to specifications, leads a pouring crew, uses transits to layout panels and performs QC inspections.
  • Establishes crews, designates responsibilities and follows through with assigned work.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized job trailer and job site.
  • Discusses man-hour budgets with supervisor for operations as assigned and is accountable for the completion of an operations within a designated time frame.
  • Monitors job site activity; assists in organizing tasks to ensure the plan is accomplished and makes changes in the assignment as necessary while adhering to schedule and budget.
  • Understands and comply with all DN Tanks Safety Policies and requirements, including leading the morning safety meeting.

Required Qualifications:

  • Ability to perform tasks outdoor at heights between 20ft to 120ft.
  • Experience leading at least a 4-person crew as a Foreman.
  • Any construction certifications are a plus.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
  • Certified in CPR/First Aid training
