This position is responsible for managing sales activity on selected HSD exclusive products. This requires regular consultative contact with every FSC in a defined geography and assigned customers. The Senior EPS is expected to form a business relationship with each FSC and RM in order to meet sales targets on selected lines. The Senior EPS must demonstrate product expertise on an assigned product lines, strong selling and closing skills, train both customers and FSC's in their geographic area, and generate sales at budgeted levels. In addition, the Senior EPS will have expanded duties to development of other EPS and sales within the region managed by the ERM, which will require working outside of the Senior EPS territory from time-to-time.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develops, manages, and increases sales on specific product lines in order realize assigned quotas for a diverse portfolio of products. Viewed as the "wholesale rep" for assigned lines. This requires face-to-face consultative contact with every FSC in assigned territory, including extensive co-travel time and direct sales activities when unaccompanied by other staff. Follows up on all leads assigned to territory, as well as close coordinate with designated call center staff.
As directed by ERM within the ERMs regional geography, co-travel with other EPS for training purposes, participate in structured training events, manage conventions or other assignments that may vary from time-to-time but are intended to support the broader development of the ERM's region
Plans, organizes, and implements effective sampling and selling strategies using proprietary in house customer data. Reports specifically where and how samples are used.
Maintains professional and consistent communication with Exclusives Regional Manager and performs activities with customers as directed.
Attends all sales meetings, dental conventions, seminars, and Career Development training programs as instructed by Exclusives Regional Manager.
Responds in a timely and professional fashion to customer concerns, executing follow up actions to ensure customer issues/opportunities are communicated to appropriate HSD departments and resolved.
Maintains accountability for adherence to company and divisional organization policies and procedures.
Works in a professional and harmonious manner and cooperates with all HSD personnel in the execution of company programs as directed.

Meeting company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis, performing all work related tasks in a manner that is in compliance with all Company policies and procedures including World Wide Business Standards.
Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behavior in completing job duties and assignments.
Between 2-5 years of prior experience as an EPS required with demonstrated mastery of clinical terms, designated products, related dental categories and competitors, expert selling skills, mastery and compliance with EPS systems and reporting, and strong sales results versus quota in EPS territory during EPS tenure ranking in top third of EPS. Demonstrated ability for technical selling, training downstream sales people, and managing/selling in a convention environment. Ability to assess other sales people selling skills, coach and communicate findings to supervisor.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills:
Desired skills include: EPS experience required with demonstrated sales performance vs. quota, knowledge of EPS products and related deployment strategies, sales knowledge, ability to close, technical selling expertise, excellent interpersonal skills, peer-to-peer training skills, attention to detail, planning capabilities, strong computer skills, and project management skills
Valid driver's license required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
