If you are located in El Paso ,Texas, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Services include comprehensive assessment, development of individualized services plans, care coordination and planning and ongoing support for Medicare and Medicaid members
  • Collaboration and facilitation with other interdisciplinary care team members
  • Meet established performance and compliance metrics
  • Attends regular meetings with managers/staff to address issues and concerns
  • Attends and actively participates in on-site meetings with our client partner developing strong rapport and relationships with day to day contacts
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to meet goals and objectives to meet business goals and client expectations
  • Ensure compliance with State and Federal regulations, contract requirements, URAC and NCQA standards and company policies and procedures

Successful candidate will interact with multiple stakeholders within our company, our client partner, as well as possible state regulators and community-based providers. Candidate should be comfortable with and have experience with public speaking. Candidate should have experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders, consumers and state/federal regulator

Required Qualifications:

  • BSN with active, unrestricted Texas license residing in the El Paso, TX area
  • Bi-lingual English and Spanish speaking required
  • Minimum of 3 years experience as a Registered Nurse
  • Medicare/Medicaid experience
  • The role is telecommute, but will be expected to attend meetings at El Paso Health Plan office and will travel to members in El Paso as needed to attend in-person assessments
Preferred Qualifications:  
  • A background in managed care
  • Case management experience
  • Certified Case Manager (CCM)
  • Experience or exposure to discharge planning
  • Experience in utilization review, concurrent review or risk management
  • Previous experience in a telephonic role
