Description

Our client is searching for an accomplished, strategically focused Vice President of Human Resources to be responsible for developing and executing workforce strategies in support of the overall business plan and organizational direction. This role will have leadership and oversight of talent and performance management, talent acquisition, training and development, compensation, benefits, and additional core human resource functions as well as workforce related compliance and risk management oversight. This position is responsible for leading the entire HR team and will report directly into the President.
Support and implement all Human Resources efforts that align with the firm's mission and strategic direction.
Summary of Responsibilities:
Develop new and refine existing HR strategies that support the achievement of near and long-term business objectives.
Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive team, as well as respective business unit leadership, on key organizational and workforce related matters.
Lead and implement strategic initiatives designed to heighten employee engagement, wellness, and the overall enhancement of the firm's culture.
Develop a comprehensive recruiting and retention plan to meet the evolving talent needs of a growing organization across multiple markets and geographies.
Provide leadership and coaching to the HR team and management by overseeing all functional areas related to talent acquisition, team member retention, career development, leadership development, onboarding, training, compensation, benefits and other workforce programs.
Sets the direction for the internal and external communication strategy for all workforce and human resource related initiatives.
Ensure compliance of all employee related policies and programs with each applicable regulatory body, while working to uphold and enhance the outstanding reputation of the organization.

Requirements

Desired Characteristics:
Proven history of leading by example and the desire to make a positive impact on the lives of others.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university, MBA or Master's in Human Resources or related field preferred.
SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of HR experience, including leading an industrial workforce.
Passion for driving learning and development initiatives.
15-25% travel to multiple domestic facilities as required to implement strategic initiative and support the needs of the expanding geographic footprint.
Ability to fulfill flexible scheduling requirements as determined by the needs of the organization, including the ability to attend philanthropic, professional and customer related events out of market or outside of normal business hours.
