Sodexo Corporate Services Division is seeking a qualified Bilingual Environmental Services Custodial Operations Manager to work with a pharmaceutical client in Bridgewater, NJ. This position will have exposure to a large multiservice portfolio. This is a great entry level management opportunity for individuals wishing to progress in their career. You will be assigned to the night shift (3pm - 12am), supervise a team of up to 20 unionized FTEs and reporting to the Operations Manager.
The Custodial Manager is responsible to consistently meet all company, client, & regulatory requirements. Ensure that Sodexo Operating Standards are in place and consistently met. Provide oversight and leadership for non-exempt unionized staff. Provide an efficient and safe working environment for employees and their activities. Use best business practices to manage resources, services and process to meet the needs of building occupants. Maintain a strong focus on customer service and the employee experience by ensuring our offices are clean, environmentally appealing, and set up with the proper resources.

- Ability to read, write and understand English and Spanish
- Have a strong attention to detail.

- Have an understanding of regulatory, and safety standards.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising
- Experience working in a union environment
- Experience working in a corporate and or pharmaceutical environment is a plus

Provides management oversight for Environmental Services exempt and non-exempt level staff (client and/or Sodexo employees) in the delivery of Sodexo Environmental Service Programs. -Assists with Management of Environmental Service budget by ensuring full compliance to established operating standards, monitoring costs (e.g. labor, inventory, equipment, and material), and taking corrective action as needed.
