Join the team responsible for the localization of Apple's software and hardware print documentation in 40+ languages. We are looking for a motivated and energetic localization project manager with a passion for continuous improvement to deliver large volumes of high quality documentation in a dynamic environment. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling, managing and tracking localization efforts as well as communicating risks and priorities in order to deliver on time and high quality documentation. You'll be working on printed documentation that ships alongside Apple hardware and online user guides available on The successful candidate will interact with many different teams and individuals, including but not limited to engineering project managers, documentation engineers, external translation and production vendors, and regional localization QA teams. The environment is fast paced, requiring the ability to work autonomously and manage aggressive delivery schedules. We are looking for someone who is flexible and can respond quickly, energetically, and enthusiastically to changes. Must have cross-functional communication skills and experience. Candidates should have excellent problem solving and negotiation skills as well as a passion for improving on process and tools. The right mix of technical, organizational, and communication skills is the key to success. Attention to detail and a proven ability to manage priorities are essential.

Specific responsibilities: - Working cross functionally to develop, communicate and maintain a schedule for localization efforts - Defining strategy/resource needs for assigned project - Coordinating with internal and external teams to align documentation efforts and create schedules that ensure high quality documentation. - Communicating project status to stakeholders - Identifying and managing schedule risks - Reconciling schedule conflicts by working with project stakeholders to establish priorities - Following up on all internationalization and localization issues - Maintaining workload and vendor estimated and actual spend data for assigned projects - Identify gaps or inefficiencies in project management tools and process within and between teams and suggest improvements

Education & Experience

Degree in CS or related field/experience
