Develop and improve multi-sensor navigation technology as a location estimation scientist. Key Qualifications

  • Proficient in Bayesian estimation concepts and Kalman filtering
  • Proficient in statistics concepts and statistical data analysis
  • Familiar with inertial navigation systems
  • Proficient in C++
  • Familiar with modern object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns
  • Familiar with efficient, real-time software design
  • Familiar with Linux-based operating systems
  • Comfortable implementing complex mathematical algorithms and bookkeeping schemes
  • Comfortable working with a development team on a large body of code
  • Eager to learn new techniques and experiment with state-of-the-art navigation technologies

You'll also collaborate to qualify performance and support commercialization for hundreds of millions of users on multiple hardware families. You'll share responsibility for radionavigation system architecture including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and Beidou. You'll also participate in radionavigation receiver design and radionavigation estimation software design.

Education & Experience

Applicants should have a PhD or Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field with emphasis in positioning and Bayesian estimation.
