To iPhone and iPad users, SpringBoard is iOS. The SpringBoard Multitasking team is looking for a passionate and hard-working software engineer to help us shape users' experiences with Apple's most popular products.

The SpringBoard Multitasking team is responsible for the swipe-up gesture on home buttonless devices, iPad multi-window UI, App Expose, the switcher, and OS level system gestures. In this role, you'll develop new SpringBoard features while also taking existing features to the next level. You'll be involved from beginning to end - brainstorming, designing, prototyping, testing, coding, debugging, shipping, addressing customer feedback, and maintaining. You will collaborate with other team members, many other teams within Apple, and Apple designers to develop and refine features on both iPhone and iPad. Come shape the future of the user experience!

Education & Experience

Bachelor of Computer Science or equivalent work experience

Additional Requirements

  • -Knowledge of Objective-C
  • -Knowledge of Apple's development APIs (Cocoa, Cocoa Touch, CoreFoundation, CoreGraphics, etc)
  • -Experience developing with Cocoa or other application frameworks
  • -Experience developing reusable public or private APIs
