We are looking for a strong candidate to join our CPU silicon team focusing on characterizing, validating, and optimizing processor power features on silicon. In this highly visible role, you will be interfacing with multiple subject areas, with a critical impact on getting power efficient products to millions of customers quickly.
- The ideal candidate should have broad knowledge related to physical design, circuit analysis, and logic design.
- Understanding of timing and power at the CMOS level.
- Experience with lab measurement instrumentation.
- Should be a team player with excellent communication skill.
- Able to work across multiple functional groups to optimize power efficiency.
As a Processor Silicon Power Engineer, you will have the responsibilities as follows: - Validate and characterize processor power optimization and management features in silicon. - CPU voltage/frequency characterization. - Work on sensor characterization and usage for debug and characterization. - Work efficiently with cross disciplinary teams including system, software and product engineers to deliver the optimal power experience to users.
Education & Experience
BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science is required.
