Role: Assists loan officer as needed, including but not limited to: scanning, DocuSign, obtaining all required documents for the loan officer as need for the mortgage file, organizing file, obtain tax information, assist with gathering of loan conditions. Assists with both Home Equity and Secondary Market. This position may act as a liaison between outside funding institutions, appraisers, title companies, realtors and members, and ensures that the loan file is still worked on in the absence of the loan officer. Must have NMLS number. Present a friendly, professional and personable attitude that communicates to members, staff and visitors that the credit union is a friendly and professional financial institution.
Experience: One to two years of similar or related experience.
Education: A high school education or GED is required. A four-year college level of language, math and reasoning skills preferred. Formal training should be supplemented with continuing education.
Work Environment: This job is scheduled during normal credit union business hours. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The job calls for a high degree of mental concentration to interpret and act upon a wide range of situations.
