Early Head Start Partnership Specialist

The Early Head Start Partnership Specialist ensures partnership compliance with Head Start Program Performance Standards and the Early Head Start Partnering for Excellence (PFE) goals. Responsible for assisting the Early Head Start PFE sites with recruitment, enrollment, and ensuring eligibility for the program. The position will build the capacity of the partnership and its teachers to enhance instructional practices at the classroom level, raise the level of student achievement, and ensure that each child’s portfolio reflects all required documentation and will support the program’s current school readiness goals.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in family and consumer sciences, early childhood education, child development, education or related field is required. Two years of relevant experience is required. Knowledge of Kentucky licensing regulations, Head Start Program Performance Standards, Kentucky ALL STARS and National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) accreditation is preferred. Must obtain a physical, food handler’s permit, T.B. skin test and, any other screenings, physicals, and/or testing required or implemented by funding source, licensing and/or regulations.

Salary: $39,020.80 - $42,922.88 (plus excellent benefits)

10% salary differential for bilingual applicants (English/Spanish)
