The Customer Service Representative is responsible for answering incoming calls from consumers, employers, and brokers with questions about account balances, card activations, application status, treasury guidelines and regulations, and internal procedures.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Taking inbound calls from consumers
  • Handling and researching issues over the phone
  • Utilizing the computer database to verify and document information

**ENGLISH PROFICIENCY ASSESSMENT WILL BE REQUIRED AFTER APPLICATION**

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Sunday- Saturday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (5:00am to 10:00pm). Shift schedules can change every 3-4 months. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime and holidays. Our site is located at Monteheidra Office Centre, 9615 Los Romeros Ave, San Juan, PR 00926.

Requirements


Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1+ years of experience in a Customer Service setting
  • Available to work (40 hours/week) Sunday- Saturday. Flexible to work any of our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (5:00am to 10:00pm)
  • Familiarity with computer and Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish (English proficiency assessment will be required after application)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial services background
  • Previous call center experience
  • Knowledge of medical or health insurance terminology
  • Ability to navigate a computer while on the phone
  • Ability to multi-task, this includes ability to understand multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product
  • Ability to remain focused and productive each day though tasks may be repetitive
