2nd shift Material Handler - Warehouse - $17 per hour
This position is primarily responsible for the receiving, moving, storing, loading of raw materials, packaging and finished product.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Duties include operating fork lift truck, stretch wrapper and other material handling equipment, required to receive, store and move raw materials and packaging to the production floor.
Provides support to production operations, stretch wrapping finished goods, moving finished goods to warehouse and loading of finished goods on truck.
Records appropriate receiving, inventory and shipping reports.
Adherence to the company attendance policy is required, which includes expectations of punctuality and limited unapproved absences
No direct supervisory responsibilities. Must be able to work in a self-directed team environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or equivalent and/or prior operator experience. Must be forklift certified.
Ability to read, analyze and follow directions. Must be able to speak, listen and openly communicate with team members and actively participate in team meetings.
Ability to apply formulas and mathematical concepts and to use them in product development.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw a valid conclusion.
