Position Summary

The Department of Modern & Classical Languages in the College of Arts and Sciences at North Central College invites applications for a part-time position in Spanish, beginning fall semester 2020. Candidates possessing a Ph.D. in Spanish or related fields are preferred, but those with an M.A. in Spanish and experience teaching college-level Spanish courses will be considered. Teaching assignment will include a course at the Elementary Spanish level. Applicants must demonstrate commitment to teaching excellence.

Founded in 1861, North Central College is a selective, comprehensive liberal arts institution of about 3000 students, located 28 miles west of Chicago in Naperville. The college is within walking distance of the Naperville Metra station and is next to downtown Naperville.
