Sodexo is seeking a General Manager- Food for CHI St. Alexius Health Williston in Williston, ND. This is a critical access hospital with 19 beds and has been proudly serving the community since 1920. As the leader of the unit, the General Manager will be responsible for managing the department operations and financial responsibilities for patient dining and retail operations.

Are you the experienced food service manager we’re seeking?

We are looking for candidates who will:

  • have oversight of day-to-day operations (trayline, dining room service);
  • deliver high quality food service;
  • achieve company and client financial targets and goals;
  • develop and maintain client and customer relationships;
  • create a positive environment; and

The ideal candidate:

  • has a work history demonstrating strong leadership skills, as well as food operations experience and the ability to work collaboratively;
  • has two or more years food service management experience
  • has a strong food production background;
  • has a knowledge of safety and sanitation compliance;
  • has the ability to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service;
  • can demonstrate the ability to prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed; and
  • is proficient in computer skills and report management experience.
