Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor.
The Farmington office of a State of New Mexico government agency is recruiting for an individual to provide the full range of vocational rehabilitation services to persons who are blind or severely visually impaired in order that they may obtain, maintain, or advance in employment. Services Northern/Northwestern New Mexico. Incumbent determines applicant's eligibility for services, identifies all disabilities and medical conditions that may represent impediments to employment, coordinates adjustment counseling, coordinates blindness skills training, conducts career assessment to identify an appropriate vocational goal, jointly develops an Individualized Plan for Employment, coordinates the delivery of services, coordinates job placement services as necessary, and coordinates post-employment services as necessary.
Full-time, $33k-$58k annually, state government benefits. Open until filled.
Minimum qualifications - Bachelor's Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation, Sociology, Psychology, Guidance and Counseling, Social Work, or Special Education with no experience.
