Engineer III (HRA0001RZ) to define, document, & implement technical process improvements for VP6 specific simulations; develop a prediction tool for the Door Closing Initial Quality Survey using correlation data from the new Easy Slam System; perform door mirror frequency response function simulation; & perform MATLAB modeling, energy modeling, & mathematical model development, & develop correlations to test data for simulation improvements. Travel approximately 5% of the time to unanticipated domestic & international locations is required. Design Engineer III (HRA0001RY) to design seats & seat belt components; create part design concepts, & manage project schedules; responsible for creating & checking two-dimensional & three-dimensional data & layouts for seat designs, investigating & resolving problem items, & calculating & controlling component part cost, weight, & investments. Travel approximately 5-10% of the time to unanticipated domestic & international locations is required. Engineer III (HRA0001RX) to perform tests on the complete vehicle fuel system assembly; design & fabricate test jigs & fixtures, & set up & verify the dimensions of fixtures prior to commencing testing as required; conduct investigations to determine the root cause for test failures observed during testing; & oversee test & project schedules to ensure that all deadlines can be met. Engineer II (HRA0001S0) to analyze, design, & develop automotive chassis components & concepts; generate three-dimensional layouts & two-dimensional drawings using CATIA software; create packaging layouts & e-calculate the cost of components; & develop new systems. Senior Engineer I (HRA0001RW) to prepare & oversee performance of safety-related side impact simulations & tests for vehicle development; engineer the design of side impact simulations & testing methodologies on vehicles, analyze the simulation & vehicle testing data, produce summaries of results & develop planning targets & specifications for vehicle safety systems; & propose countermeasures to all activities & testing not meeting specifications.
