Customer Service Representatives provides assistance to new and existing customers in person and by phone, addressing questions regarding billing, payments, conservation and water quality. The position requires CSRs to be independent, use good judgment, take initiative, and maintain an effective working relationship with others. In addition, CSRs process payments, schedule appointments, compile reports, file, and perform other office duties as assigned. This position is located in East Pierce, Washington.



  • Performs major cashiering duties, balances all cash received in office, prepares bank deposits, and prepares daily cash report
  • Takes customer orders and provides high-quality customer service
  • Assists new and existing customers in person and by phone, addressing questions regarding billing, payments, conservation and water quality
  • Data entry into spreadsheet using excel program
  • Performs a variety of routine to difficult clerical duties, including filing, billing and collections, processing payments, scheduling appointments, and compiling reports
  • Operates standard office equipment, including word processing equipment
  • Edits meter reads, writes and resolves service orders, folds, and complies for mailing bills
  • Sets up new customer accounts
  • Corresponds with customers regarding metered billing status
  • Scans and files service orders, customer files, and system service orders
  • Participates in and supports the Company’s Continuous Improvement program and projects
  • Performs other similar duties as assigned


  • High School or possession of a GED
  • Three years customer service experience in an administrative or clerical capacity
  • Excellent customer service skills with a pleasant and professional manner
  • Fast and accurate data-entry skills
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
  • Proficiency required in handling and balancing cash
  • Must be available to work extended hours as required for customer needs
  • Valid Washington driver license
