Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for LifeQuest, a growing assisted living and skilled care facility located in Quakertown, Pennsylvania. The Chef Manager will oversee the food service operations for the skilled care facility serving approximately 130 residents and will also assist with bistro dining as needed. Will interface with residents on a daily basis and will lead a team of approximately 8 hourly cooks. Typical shift will be 10:00am - 7:00pm, may vary with some weekends and some holidays.
The successful candidate will:
- oversee the trayline operations and cook approximately 2 days a week;
- ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
- have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
- ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance; and
- have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems.
