Position Summary:
Scope of Position

  •  This position will Manage the development and implementation process of a company's
    services involving departmental or cross-functional teams focused on th e delivery of new or existing projects.
  •  Drive Agile mindset and methodology adoption across Motion trough process and technology improvement;
  •  Leverage High Performance Organization framework, playbooks and dashboard within Motion Business, serving as a BU liasion for HPO activities across the Intelligent Device segment.
  •  Maintain the RAPL Governance Process and ensure training and communication to the organization for each RAPL release or individual process updates
  •  Work closely with Motion Product Management, Engineering and Architects team to ensure that our Design for Security, (DfS) guidelines are applied consistently in product development activities.
  •  Manages sales resources within Motion and ensure engagement and alignment with Global Sales and Marketing organization. (Specific for Motion - only)
  •  Participate of Business Strategy Review collaborating to define goals and strategy of the Motion Organization and track progress to ensure BSR commitments on an annual basis
  •  Responsible for direct, planning and drive strategic process improvement and control initiatives. Deliver annual cost savings productivity as per AOP.
  •  Ensure initiative alignment with the Business Vision, strategy and deployment within the company, leading the creation and cascaded goals activity for the business and track progress on an ongoing basis
  •  Manage interaction with OES and other stakeholders to ensure product and prototypes are manufactured with appropriate cost, quality and delivery to schedule. 
  •  Manages issues to resolution activities and provide right level of escalation and engagement of all parts involved.
  •  Positively lead teams and organizations through change. Communicate effectively to teams and leadership to ensure support for resources and buy-in for change
  •  Ability to be placed in demanding environments and drive towards objectives
  •  Comfortable leading change in areas outside of subject matter expertise
  •  Identify opportunities, scope projects, track benefits, and forecast resources to achieve productivity, quality and service improvement targets aligned with business priorities, financial improvements, and customer issues.
  •  Partner with business leaders in identifying potential business opportunities in the area of process improvement, while driving business results through the power of influence, methodologies and tools in identified areas of opportunity. Ensures thorough familiarity with company policies and procedures. Takes into account the global impact of local activities and decisions.


  •  Demonstrate knowledge and engagement with Agile practices and is unbiased towards standardization to drive business simplification
  •  Demonstrates awareness, knowledge and guidance of Lean Six Sigma principles, methodologies and tools In a diverse business environment, communicates and listens to key stakeholders and business leaders to establish an understanding of the challenges and barriers they face in utilizing Lean Six Sigma, while maintaining the importance of Rockwell Automation's engagement in Lean Enterprise.
  •  Possesses an understanding of product portfolios and customer needs
  •  Collaborates with and manages multiple stakeholders including manufacturing, sourcing, internal business units, sales, marketing, third party partners, etc.
  •  Stays current with direction of business unit and executes strategies that ensures productivity in changing business environment
  •  Information Processing Capability Ability to manage ambiguity and data to find improvement opportunities through prioritization

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, Materials, or Operations is preferred
  •  Willingness to travel approximately 10% per year

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Minimum 10+ years of People Management experience
  • Experience leading project teams
  • Proficiency using Excel and strong analytical skills
  •  Effective communication, presentation and conflict management skills
  •  Experience participating in or leading value streams
  •  Knowledge of kaizen and other Lean Six Sigma facilitation tools
