Sodexo is seeking an INNOVATIVE FACILITIES MANAGEMENT Vice President to join our Corporate Services Segment. You will be part of our leadership team for a Regional Account and part of our Global Strategic Account contract with a major manufacturing client. Must be experienced working in a manufacturing environment !
We are looking for a Vice President with a strong facilities background to lead a regional manufacturing account. You should have technical knowledge of total integrated facilities management covering both hard and soft services in a manufacturing and logistics environment. You will oversee a Managed volume $80 - $100 million and 20 manufacturing site locations in different states across the US. We are offering full IFM services in a manufacturing environment including food. This portfolio will consist of manufacturing sites, office space and warehouse space; with management oversight of Security, Culinary, Hard (Bldg. Systems, HVAC, Engineering) and Soft services (Janitorial, Shipping & Receiving, Mail Services, food). This position requires a strategic leader, knowledge of GMP (Good manufacturing practices), be capable of managing complex projects and the ability to successfully integrate services and lead a diverse team. The ideal candidate must be a strong communicator, strategic, collaborative, forward thinking, the ability to focus on the critical few, and is comfortable with continuous change. In addition, the candidate must possess demonstrated experience in delivering results within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Remote leadership, safety passion, commercial understanding, contract knowledge and interpretation, strong client management.
- Strong operational leadership of multiple services
- Ability to deliver exceptional Soft/Hard FM services and solutions
- Through operational excellence, provide continued innovation and value add services
- Develops exceptional client relations and ability to grow services
- Build and foster relationships across Sodexo internally to ensure additional market growth & promotion of comprehensive solutions to the client.
- Collaborate with the management team in providing strategic direction and growth
- Drive solutions that optimize the account portfolio.
- Owns, and leads, the efforts in associate and leader growth and development - through mentoring, coaching and succession planning
- Ensure the organization’s core values are modeled & driven throughout the region.
- Strong financial acumen and ability to create innovative operational solutions.
The ideal candidate will reside in Ohio and must be able to travel up to 30 %.

The Vice President of Facilities Operations leads facilities maintenance operations of building(s) and property at a single mega-site or multi-site unit with four levels of management reporting up to this position. This position leads the integration of processes within the client organization to maintain and develop agreed services which support and improve the effectiveness of its primary activities. At the organizational level, the Vice President of Facilities Operations contributes to the delivery of strategic and operational objectives by reducing facility costs, and improving the productivity, revenue generating capacity and image of the entire organization. This position ensures a safe and efficient working environment, essential to the performance of the business. The Vice President of Facilities Operations manages construction work and may coordinate and/or oversee contracted services for major construction. The position often manages other core Sodexo services, and/or logistics of business/operations services, e.g., grounds keeping, laundry, food, security, inventory, mail, concierge services.
