CITY CLERK: Serves at executive level under the direct supervision of the City Manager performing all major City Clerk municipal functions and ensures the effectiveness and efficiency of daily administrative operations of the Legislative Department. Serves as the records management officer for the City. Serves as certifying officer for municipal elections. Maintains calendars and appointments of City Council members. Directly supervises three or more employees in the Legislative Department. Requires Bachelor’s Degree supplemented by six (6) years progressively responsible experience and/or training in municipal administrative support work, demonstrating excellent written communication and organizational skills; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Ideal candidate will have CMC or MMC certification. Pay range is $26.54 to $51.29 per hour (negotiable) based on experience.
