GROWING FULL-SERVICE CPA FIRM SENIOR POSITIONS / PARNTER OPPORTUNITY - Wisconsin - Ideal MULTIPLE positions for an EXPERIENCED TAX MANAGER desiring to achieve partner or an EXISTING TAX PARTNER looking for a new opportunity, experience and challenge to either conclude or fast-track their career while actively and meaningfully contributing to the direction and leadership of the firm. Flexible work schedules in non-busy season This position will work closely with the firm’s Tax Director in the firm’s Greenfield and Cedarburg locations.  There is also an opportunity to have tax supervision and review opportunities in the firm’s other office locations.  Very competitive compensation and benefits. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage tax accounting staff including delegation of work, training, and supervision

• Answer questions of staff and others in the office

• Review individual, business, trust and non-profit tax returns

• Coordinate the quarterly tax and year-end tax planning with the client and staff

• Communicate client issues with the engagement partner

• Develop and maintain Client contact at the executive level

• Marketing to new clients

• Service current clients as their trusted adviser

• Prepare responses to correspondence from taxing authorities

• Perform and direct to the staff tax research

• Act as the contact person for IRS and other audits

 

ESSENTIAL POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Marketing to new clients

• Manage tax staff

• Review

• Stay current on technical issues

• Communicate tax changes to staff and partners

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Accounting or equivalent degree

• CPA designation

• 7+ years of public accounting experience

• Supervisory experience

• Working knowledge of tax and accounting software
