A minimum of 3 years construction management and commercial construction experience needed.

Must have experience with project scheduling, submittals, change orders, change in contracts, and progress billings.

Wallace & Smith Contractors was founded by H.R. Wallace and Earl O. Smith in 1950. Bart A. Wallace and George R. “Bob” Smith, the next generation, acquired the company in 1983 and continued the same construction services with many of the original employees. Paul Cooper joined the firm in 1989. The Company advanced its presence and abilities with every project, gaining recognition for full service quality construction, with an emphasis on partnerships and lasting relationships.

This principal to “do what we say we are going to do”, and a complete opposition to non-productive litigation has created a loyal clientele and propelled our reputation as “the go to builder in the local region. In recent years we have successfully completed several diverse, complex and uncommon projects. This has manifested the ideal that any goal is attainable as long as the pre-planning is implemented, coupled with clear and consistent collaboration for all parties involved. Whether the clients needs are for shell buildings or turnkey PLC controlled factories, Wallace & Smith has the proven resources and expertise to deliver.

Our Company specializes in commercial, industrial, institutional, agricultural, and aerospace building construction throughout California and the Western United States with licenses in Washington; Oregon; Nevada; and Arizona. Over the years we have acquired expertise in many types of construction including wood-framed; concrete tilt-up; masonry; steel framed; and pre-engineered steel. We are an authorized representative for CBC Steel Buildings, A Nucor Company.

Working with a multi-faceted team of dedicated professionals, company officers Bart Wallace, Bob Smith and Paul Cooper, assure that the firms commitment to its clients is extended through quality workmanship and professional management. Familiar with the required detail in planning and implementing a building program, the company staff works together with clients, architects and other team members to provide a cost effective, service oriented approach to building projects.

We have a unique ability to collaborate without domination, producing a free flow of ideas.

Our experience in building to our clients needs, whether manufacturing single products such as metals, plastics, chemicals, or complex assembly of aircraft or, spacecraft, or a service provider with bulk material handling needs, we care. It shows in our commitment to learn your business and ensure that we are a direct benefit to the process which contributes to the clients overall success.
