Advisory Engineer, IBM Corporation, Austin, TX: Perform hardware bring-up and functional validation for 200Gb Ethernet and Infiniband I/O adapters and top of rack switches for state-of-the-art High Performance Computing environments. Perform functional validation and tuning of next generation network accelerator adapters and inferencing & training I/O adapters running custom Machine Learning/ Deep Learning (MLDL) and network offload images. Debug and provide field support of high-speed I/O networks in Supercomputing clusters and Artificial Intelligence environments. Perform E2E stack validation including HW, OS, System FW, and boot operations; validation includes error injection and recovery procedures and four corners stress including maximum configuration and performance tuning, modeling and code optimization to maximize industry standard benchmarks. Perform validation, performance tuning, and debug of both native-attached PCIe-based GPUs. Responsible for PCIe bus and custom I/O bus operation, debug, and integration. Utilize Bring up/validation/debug using Power System Servers I/O networking adapters and/or switches, HPC and GPU performance modeling, workload monitoring, and code tuning. Required: Master's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related and one (1) year of experience as a Hardware Systems Engineer or related. One (1) year of experience must include utilizing Bring up/validation/ debug using Power System Servers I/O networking adapters and/or switches, HPC and GPU performance modeling, workload monitoring, and code tuning.
