The macOS Release Validation team is responsible for qualifying the release process for Apple's software updates, security updates, and major versions of macOS.

Key Qualifications

• 4+ years of testing experience
• Knowledge of one or more Scripting or Programming Languages including Swift, Objective C, Python, etc. is a plus
• Ability to identify and investigate difficult problems and independently work towards results
• Creative thinker and strong problem solver with meticulous attention to detail
• Good understanding of SQA methodologies and SDLC
• Knowledge of and experience with macOS
• Experience in Unix and shell scripting
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Highly organized, creative, motivated, and passionate about achieving results
• Ability to support rotational weekend coverage

Description

We are seeking a self-motivated and highly organized QA engineer to handle responsibilities, which include functional and end-to-end testing of the macOS release paths. You should be able to design and implement test plans, review existing test plans, prioritize tasks to account for schedule and risk, provide reliable estimates of planned testing work, and track progress regularly. You should be at ease working in a fast-paced environment, and able to handle rapidly changing priorities

Education & Experience

BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
